Rose Xiong 1) As a senior at Johnson Senior High School, I strive to become someone who is able to step out of their comfort zone, and help my underclassman feel some sort of comfort within our school. 2) For me, being a leader means stepping up to face new challenges. I believe that by doing this, it makes us stronger and smarter as an individual. When one feels good about themselves, they tend to pass that positive energy onto others, creating more leaders within the process. 3) When facing challenges, I look to others for help. Some may think that asking for help is a sign of weakness however, to me, asking for help makes us smart as we are able to admit that we are stuck, and is willing to ask for the help that we need. 4) Favorite Quote: “Work until your idols become your rivals.” 5) Taking proper care of oneself is very important to me. Whether you like reading, playing games, watching your favorite shows, or simply unwinding to drink a cup of tea, I believe everyone should take some time off within their day to take care of themselves.

Who am I and what am I about? First and foremost I go by the name of Seng Khang, I’m all about having fun. Not even that I want people to be involved, I don’t want students to be sat in a boring class in which they don’t enjoy. I’d rather have the students do something more involved such as competitive activities or fun activities to avoid being bored in school.
For me being a leader means? Being a leader means that we the student won’t have to do a lot of homework, I know that a majority of the students do not find homework enjoyable also some students won’t even have enough time to do homework because of work or any other outside forces. Also I want students to enjoy school, I don’t want the students to feel like school is a waste of time, I want students to take away skills even if its just one or two that they can use outside of school.
When faced with challenges I look to? I look for a different way to go around it simple. But if you want a long winded answer I’d say I probably go ask someone who’s faced almost the same thing and see if they can give me any hints, the last thing is I’d ask friends for help.
